For me, Pet Sounds isn't just an influential record; it's a deeply personal touchstone, a sonic companion that has guided and reflected my own journey for decades. If you know me, you know I won’t shut up about Pet Sounds; I'll constantly ask friends, "Have you listened to Pet Sounds this week?" At the same time, it's difficult to truly articulate the profound impact it's had on me, which has made this an exceedingly challenging post to write.
