UHF (1989) is a chaotic comedy masterpiece starring "Weird Al" Yankovic as a chronic daydreamer who accidentally becomes the manager of a bankrupt local TV station. To save the channel, he fills the broadcasting schedule with unhinged, ultra-low-budget shows like Wheel of Fish and Conan the Librarian. The station becomes an overnight ratings juggernaut when a manic, mop-obsessed janitor named Stanley takes over the kids' show. It is essentially a 97-minute fever dream of fake commercials and movie parodies that will completely ruin your attention span in the best way possible.
